Chandanwari: Whether you want to take the much-appreciated Amarnath Yatra or easy access to snow in winter months, Chandanwari is a great pick. Look out for souvenir shops and local dhabas.

Betaab Valley: Named after a romantic movie made in the 80s, Betaab Valley is spread around the meandering Lidder River. The picture-perfect valley is only 15 km from Pahalgam.

Aishmuqam Shrine: Perched atop a hillock inside a cave lies the shrine of Sheikh-Zain-Udin at Aishmuqam.
