Places to Visit in Nashik, Maharashtra

• Ramkund: A sacred tank in Nashik that draws thousands of devotees, especially during the Kumbh Mela. It is believed to cleanse one’s sins and is an important pilgrimage site along the Godavari River.
• Shree Kaalaram Mandir Panchvati Nashik: Built in the 18th century, this temple is a masterpiece of Hemadpanthi architecture. It is dedicated to Lord Rama and named after its striking black stone idol housed in the sanctum.
• Muktidham Temple: Constructed entirely from white Rajasthani marble, this temple complex features replicas of all 12 Jyotirlingas, making it a must-visit for devotees seeking a glimpse of India’s spiritual heritage.
• Saptashrungi Temple: An ancient shrine nestled amid seven surrounding peaks, from which it derives its name. Visitors can climb 510 steps to reach the temple or take a 2-minute cable car ride for a scenic ascent.

• Sita Gufa: Situated near Panchvati, this small cluster of caves houses idols of Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana. According to legend, it marks the spot where Ravana abducted Sita.
